Don't use methods that remove hair with root(waxing, sugaring, tweezing, epilator, threading). If you have done it, you need to wait 2 weeks.
Try to avoid for 2 weeks a lotion, balm, toner etc. contains alcohol. avoid skin irritation.
Have clean skin. Don't use any type of lotion, cosmetics, deodorant etc. on the area of treatment before session. Laser targets pigment and will also sizzle any pigment on your skin, including makeup, tanning products etc.
Don't take Ibuprofen 48h before your laser treatment. All other pain relievers may be taken 30min before your session. Don't take antibiotics 2 weeks before your appointment. If you're taking antibiotics please let us know.
After
Redness & bumps are normal, they might last up to 24h. You can use hydrocortisone to relief skin irritation. Avoid for 2 weeks sunbathing, indoor tanning, don't use tanning oil spray etc.
USE at least SPF#30, better if you will use SPF#50 24h after treatment DO NOT:
Use any type of cosmetics, deodorant etc. on treated area 24h after session.
Scratch, rubbed or scrub treated area.
Take hot shower.
Go to sauna, banya, hamam, swimming pool etc.
Go to the gym or any intensive activity.
Cleanse treated area gently. You can take warm shower.
